The petitioner has renewed his prayer for bail in connection with Sessions Trial no.102 of 2021 (arising out of Darpa P.S. Case no.112 of 2019) registered under section 376 and other sections of the Indian Penal Code.

As per the prosecution case, the petitioner established physical relations with the daughter of the informant on the pretext of marriage. Subsequently, on the daughter of the informant having been married elsewhere, the commission of rape by the petitioner continued even after her marriage. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is in custody since 8.11.2019. There is no progress in the learned trial court and no chance of the trial

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the allegations levelled against the petitioner, the Court is not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail and the application is rejected.
