2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Gopalganj Town P.S. Case No. 35 of 2024 registered for the offence under Sections 302, 120(B)/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act.

3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner is one of the assailants of the deceased. He is said to have shot on the head of the deceased.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that is innocent and has committed no offence. The petitioner is in custody since 12.02.2024.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State and learned counsel for the informant have vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances as well as the fact that there is direct allegation against the petitioner of killing the deceased by firearm, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

7. Accordingly, this application for regular bail is hereby rejected.
