ANJANA PRAKASH ORAL ORDER 25-05-2015 Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner and the State. The Petitioner seeks anticipatory bail in a case instituted for the offence under Sections 307/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act.
Considering the nature of allegation, I am not inclined to extend the privilege of anticipatory bail to the Petitioner in connection with Mansahi P.S. Case No. 113 of 2013 pending before Shri B.B. Ray, Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Katihar. The prayer for anticipatory bail is rejected. The Petitioner is directed to surrender before the Court below immediately, failing which the Court below shall take stringent steps against the petitioner.
