The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Majorganj P.S. Case No. 341 of 2017 dated 16.08.2017 instituted for the offence under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Excise (Amendment) Act, 2016.

The petitioner is in custody since 17.08.2017. It is alleged that around 11.700 litres of Nepali liquor was recovered from the possession of the petitioner. The petitioner does not have any criminal antecedent.

In the facts and circumstances, the petitioner above named is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bond in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned
