The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Matihani P.S. Case No. 66 of 2017 dated 26.04.2017 instituted for the offences under Sections 387, 326, 307 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act.

The informant has alleged that he was fired at by one Krishna Mohan Singh @ Bathu Singh. The petitioner is not named in the F.I.R. and during the course of investigation, it came to light that the petitioner had accompanied the aforesaid Krishna Mohan Singh @ Bathu Singh at the time of the occurrence. The petitioner is in custody since 22.06.2017. Prior to the lodging of the present case, the petitioner was made accused in one other case, in which he is on bail.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.47916 of 2017 (3) dt.02-01-2018 2/2 Regard being had to the facts that the petitioner is not alleged to have fired at the informant, this Court is inclined to grant bail to him.

The petitioner above named is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Begusarai in connection with Matihani P.S.
