Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered under Sections 25, 26 of Arms Act.

It is submitted that the petitioner was arrested from his house by the police acting on secret information. The only allegation attributed against the petitioner is of recovery of one country made pistol and one live cartridge and on the basis of such allegations, which are false, petitioner has been arrested and is in custody since 19.12.2016. Prior to the instant case, there is one another case pending against the petitioner in which he is on bail. Considering the aforesaid submissions, prayer for bail is allowed. Let the petitioner above named be released on bail

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.678 of 2018 (2) dt.11-01-2018 2/2 on his furnishing bonds of Rs 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Judicial Magistrate, First Class, Jehanabad in Parasbigha Police Station Case No 152 of 2016 subject to the following conditions: (i) That one of the bailors will be a close relative of the petitioner who will give an affidavit giving genealogy as to how he is related with the petitioner. The bailor will also undertake to inform the Court if there is any change in the address of the petitioner.

(ii) That the petitioner will be well represented on each date and if he fails to do so on two consecutive dates, his bail will be liable to be cancelled.
