JUSTICE ASHWANI KUMAR SINGH ORAL JUDGMENT Date: 23-12-2016 At the outset, it is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that during the pendency of the writ application most of the grievances of the petitioner have been redressed. However, there has been inordinate delay in payment of retiral benefits to the petitioner and interest has not been calculated while paying the retiral dues.

2. In view of the above submission, the writ application is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to file representation before the respondent no.5 in respect of his claim regarding non-payment of interest over the delayed payment of retiral benefits. In case any

Patna High Court CWJC No.9712 of 2012 dt.23-12-2016 2/2 statutory interest payable to the petitioner is due, the respondent no.5 shall be obliged to pay the same within three months from the date of filing of representation along with a copy of the order. If no statutory interest is payable to the petitioner, he will dispose of the representation within the period mentioned above by a reasoned and speaking order.
