The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Udwant Nagar P.S. Case No. 17/2018 dated 24.01.2018 instituted for the offence under Section 379 of the Indian Penal Code. The trailer of the tractor of the informant was stolen. After about four months of the occurrence, the trailer was found to be in the possession of the petitioner.

The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that he had no idea that the aforesaid trailer was a stolen property. He had purchased the aforesaid trailer for consideration. The petitioner is in custody since 30.04.2018 and he does not have any criminal antecedent.

Considering the aforesaid facts, the petitioner above

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.40332 of 2018 (2) dt.10-07-2018 2/2 named is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bhojpur at Ara in connection with Udwant Nagar P.S. Case No. 17/2018.
