The matter has been taken up through video conferencing.

The petitioner seeks bail in Charpokhari P.S. case No. 84/ 2017 registered under Section 394 of the Indian Penal Code. The petitioner is not named in the FIR. The name of the petitioner figured in the case in the confessional statement of coaccused but nothing has been recovered from the possession of the petitioner. Co-accused, namely, Anil Sharma, has already been granted bail by a coordinate bench of this court vide order dated 15.01.2018 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 59247 of 2017. The petitioner is in custody since 12.12.2019. During the course of investigation, some of the witnesses named the petitioner but the petitioner was never put on T.I. parade.
