Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, admittedly, he was not found at the place of occurrence. As per the first information report itself, he is supposed to have been named by a co-accused, who was allegedly arrested on the spot and who is the father of the petitioner. Learned counsel submits that the whole dispute was with regard to transportation charges of transporting the cow. The pick up van, on which the cow was being transported, belongs to the petitioner's father and to settle the dispute, the present case has been lodged.
