1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following reliefs:- "1.(i) For issuance of an order/direction/writ including the writ in the nature of 'Mandamus' commanding the respondents for consideration of appointment of petitioner as 'Anganwadi Sevika' in light of observation made in order/judgement dated 08.04.2019 of this Honourable court passed in CWJC number 10416 of 2014 (ANNEXURE-4).

(ii) For issuance of an order/direction/writ including the writ in the nature of 'Certiorari' setting aside the order dated 04.01.2022 passed by respondent number 5, the Child Development Project Officer, (CDPO), Patna Sadar -5, District-Patna, whereby

Patna High Court CWJC No.4960 of 2022(2) dt.29-11-2023 2/2 the petitioner has been removed as Anganwadi Sevika of Center Shish Mahal, Code No.9 falling in ward number 59, Patna City and further the petitioner has been asked to handover of the charge to former Anganwadi Sevika (ANNEXURE-7).

(iii) For issuance of an appropriate declaration holding that petitioner is entitled for her appointment on priority basis against existing vacancy in ward number 59, Patna city or against any vacancy likely to arise in near future."

2. At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to avail such other alternative remedies as are otherwise available under the law, including that of filing a suit before the learned Civil Court having competent jurisdiction for redressal of her aforesaid grievances. Liberty so sought is granted.
