ANJANA MISHRA ORAL ORDER 21-09-2017 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State.

The petitioner is in custody since 24.02.2017 in connection with a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 366(A)/34 of the Indian Penal Code. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that only on the basis of the statement made by the victim girl that one Mannu and/or Mannu Qurashi had been contacting her telephonically and, thereafter, she was kidnapped and the petitioner has been taken into custody. He further submits that the petitioner has been taken into custody only on speculation and he has no criminal antecedent.

In view of the aforementioned facts and

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.43593 of 2017 (3) dt.21-09-2017 2/2 circumstances, let the petitioner above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned A.D.J.-IV, Siwan, in connection with Basantpur P.S. Case No. 65/2017.
