No doubt, petitioner happens to be brother-in-law of the informant but there is specific allegation against him that he assaulted the informant with iron rod causing fracture on her hand. Considering the nature of the allegation as well as submissions of the parties, I am not inclined to grant the privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner and accordingly, his prayer for anticipatory bail in connection with Khaira P.S. Case no. 04/2015 pending in the court of the Sub divisional Judicial Magistrate Saran at Chapra stands rejected.
