2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 109 and 3(5) of the B.N.S. and Section 27 of the Arms Act.

3. As per prosecution case, on the alleged date and time of occurrence, three unknown miscreants, riding on a motorcycle, armed with pistol, fired gun shot upon informant and thereafter, fled away. Name of this petitioner transpired in this case during course of investigation, on the basis of confessional statement of co-accused Dhiraj Kumar and Vikas Kumar. Petitioner has also got three criminal antecedents of similar nature.

4. Considering the nature of accusation and fact that petitioner has got three criminal antecedents of similar nature,
