Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Amendment Act, 2016.
Petitioner is owner of the truck from which huge quantity of liquor was recovered and the driver and cleaner were apprehended.
Submission is that petitioner had no knowledge about the act of the driver in loading the liquor in unauthorized manner. Petitioner has got no criminal antecedent. Petitioner is in custody since 03.02.2020. There is no material to substantiate that petitioner is going to tamper with the evidence or hamper the trial.

No.14989 of 2020(2) dt.04-03-2020 2/2 Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail after completion of investigation on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Special Case No.3887 of 2019 arising out of Pandarak P.S. Case No.44 of 2019, subject to the condition that both bailors shall be resident of territorial jurisdiction of the learned court below and further the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
