The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Thawe P.S. Case No. 68 of 2016 dated 06.06.2016 instituted for the offence under Section 392 of the Indian Penal Code. Three miscreants riding one motorcycle intercepted the tractor of the informant and took away the tractor. The petitioner is not named in the FIR and his name has transpired only in the confession of co-accused Abbas Ansari. The petitioner also, later, is said to have confessed his guilt. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that though the petitioner has been made accused in about 12 cases but in most of the cases, he is on bail. It has also been submitted that all the aforesaid cases were lodged one after other in the year 2016

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.53181 of 2017 (4) dt.06-12-2017 only. This obviously is because of the petitioner not being in the good books of the local police.

The petitioner is in custody since 22.12.2016. Regard being had to the aforesaid facts, the petitioner above named is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bond in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Gopalganj in connection with Thawe P.S. Case No. 68 of 2016.
