The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 379, 414 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 26(1) of the Forest Act.

Though the petitioner was not there when the police seized forest materials, however, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on anticipatory bail for the reason that the petitioner has got identical criminal antecedent.

Hence, prayer for anticipatory bail is refused in connection with Aoungari Police Station Case No. 03 of 2019 pending in the court of learned 1st Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Hilsa. (Birendra Kumar, J) Kundan/Rajan U T
