The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case under Section 307 and other sections of the Indian Penal Code. The petitioner is alleged to have assaulted the informant with spade on his head and Satya Narain also is alleged to have assaulted the informant with Farsa. Two incise wounds have been found on the person of the informant. Both the injuries are simple in nature. It is submitted that there is a land dispute between the parties.

Having considered the fact that the petitioner is alleged to have assaulted the informant with a spade and incise wound was found on the right side of the scalp of the informant, I
