====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE S. KUMAR ORAL ORDER 12-07-2018 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State. This is an application for regular bail in connection with Ekma P.S. Case No.60 of 2018 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 302, 304(B)/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Informant is the uncle of the deceased who in his written complaint has stated that his niece was married on 10.02.2018 with the son of petitioner according to Hindu rights and customs. After marriage she was being tortured for nonfulfillment of demand of motorcycle by her in-laws. On 02.04.2018 he got information that Joyti Devi has died in her matrimonial home and when he went there he found her lying dead and also found external injury on her body and apprehended that she was killed by strangulation. However, in

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.39883 of 2018(2) dt.12-07-2018 2/2 the postmortem report no external injury or sign of strangulation has been found. Petitioner is the father-in-law and living separately from the family of his son and he is more than 70 years of age and has been falsely implicated in this case. He has got no criminal antecedent. He is in custody since 01.05.2018. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, let above named petitioner be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand only) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned A.C.J.M. -1st , Saran at Chapra in connection with Ekma P.S. Case No.60 of 2018.
