2. This is the second attempt for bail of the petitioners as earlier such prayer was rejected by order dated 01.11.2023 in Cr. Misc. No. 69522 of 2023.

3. The petitioners seek bail in connection with Khagaria (Gangaur) P.S. Case No. 659 of 2023 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 304(B)/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

4. The following order was passed on 01.11.2023 in Cr. Misc. No. 69522 of 2023 which reads as under: "Heard learned counsel for the petitioners as well as learned Additional Public

The petitioners are in custody in connection with Khagaria ( Gangaur) P.S.Case No. 659 of 2023 for the offence punishable under Section 304B/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The deceased was got married with Chandan Kumar Sharma on 25.01.2023 and she was killed on 30.06.2023. The petitioners are mother-in-law and father-in-law of the deceased.

The allegation is of killing the deceased for dowry and thereafter hanging her. Learned cousnel for the informant has submitted that the petitioners and other coaccused are trying to pressurize the prosecution side for compromise.

Learned APP has vehemently opposed the prayer of bail.

Considering the death of the deceased after few months of her marriage, this court is not inclined to grant privilege of bail to the petitioners and accordingly, the prayer of bail of the petitioners is rejected.

The trial court is directed to expedite the trial of the petitioners. The District Judge, Khagaria and the Superintendent of Police, Khagaria are directed to get the trial of the petitioners concluded at the earliest preferably, within three months after getting the case transferred to the FTC and the District Judge,Khagaria shall file a compliance report after three months"

5. From the report it appears that it is the petitioners who have delayed the trial.

6. Learned counsel for the informant submits that the trial has started and the informant has been examined.

7. In view of the above, this application is dismissed

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.19389 of 2024(3) dt.10-04-2024 3/3 as the trial has started and the informant will produce the witnesses on each and every dates.
