Petitioner seeks bail in connection Chandi P.S. Case no. 150 of 2020 registered for the offence punishable under section 304B of the Indian Penal Code.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is in custody since 17.10.2020 and is person with clean antecedent and charge sheet has been submitted. Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that petitioner is father-in-law of the deceased, further that allegation of demand of dowry as alleged in the FIR is general and omnibus. No specific allegation against this petitioner has been alleged. He further submits that vide order dated 21.10.2021 this court was pleased to grant provisional bail to the petitioner. He next

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.27732 of 2021(3) dt.23-11-2021 2/2 submits that the petitioner is senior citizen aged about 60 years. Learned APP vehemently opposed the prayer for bail. Considering the facts that petitioner is father-in-law and allegation against this petitioner is general and omnibus in nature and charge sheet has been submitted and is a senior citizen, provisional bail granted to the petitioner vide order dated 21.10.2021 is hereby confirmed.
