The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Complaint Case No. C-176 of 2019 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 323/325/379/420/498(A)/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3⁄4 of the D.P. Act. Both the parties have appeared along with their lawyers.

Both the parties have submitted that they are staying together and they do not want to continue this litigation. Considering the facts and circumstances, the present Complaint Case No. C-176 of 2019 registered for the offences

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.15029 of 2020(4) dt.14-12-2021 2/2 punishable under Sections 323/325/379/420/498(A)/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3⁄4 of the D.P. Act pending in the Court of learned S.D.J.M., Sikarahna at Dhaka, East Champaran, is hereby quashed.

It is submitted that a maintenance case is also pending in the Family Court as both the parties are staying together, the maintenance case has become infructuous.

The Family Court is directed to pass appropriate order in accordance with law.
