The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case under Section 498A of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 3/4 of the D.P. Act.

The petitioner is the husband of the complainant. It is submitted that the petitioner is ready to keep his wife. From perusal of the order, it appears that efforts for reconciliation were made and the petitioner took the wife to his own house but the wife again complained of ill-treatment at the hands of the petitioner.

Considering the facts that the petitioner did not keep his wife properly on account of non-fulfillment of demand of

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.25668 of 2015 (2) dt.16-07-2015 2/2 dowry and even during the course of reconciliation, the wife made complain against the petitioner, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on anticipatory bail in Complaint Case No. 2490 of 2012. Accordingly, the same is rejected.
