JUSTICE BIRENDRA PRASAD VERMA ORAL ORDER 26-09-2016 Despite repeated calls, none appears on behalf of the petitioner in support of the present writ petition, though the names of the learned counsel appearing on his behalf are printed in the daily cause list.
The learned State counsel appearing on behalf of the official respondents, by referring to the averments made in the counter affidavit filed on behalf of the respondent nos. 1 to 4, submits that the petitioner has no legal right over the land in question claimed by him; rather the land in question is in possession of the private respondent nos. 5 to 7. Be that as it may, since none is appearing on behalf of the petitioner, the writ petition stands dismissed for want of prosecution.
