1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1. That the present writ application is being filed for issuance of an appropriate writ, order or direction in the nature of Certiorari, to set aside the order 08.12.2023 passed by the Collector- cum District Magistrate, Muzaffarpur in Anganwadi Case No. 11/2021-22 by which the order of
Patna High Court CWJC No.5622 of 2024(2) dt.18-04-2024 2/3 D.P.O., Muzaffarpur contained in memo no.578/Pro. dated 20.02.2021 has been set aside effective after verification report of the marks sheet of respondent no. 7 and further issuance direction to not disturb the petitioner in discharging her duty on the post of Anganwadi Sevika, at Centre Code252, Centre Name- Bakori, in the Gram Panchayat Raj, Jajuar East, under Block:
Katra, District: Muzazffarpur, as the petitioner comes under the Majority Caste of Chaupal (Schedule Caste) in the Ward No.04 and having marks of 47.6% more marks amongst other candidates has got find her place wrongly at serial no.3 in the merit list and on the basis of forged documents, the respondent no. 7 Laxmi Devi was illegally appointed as Anganwadi Sevika at the aforesaid Centre, which was later on cancelled her selection subject to verification of her certificate and in her place, the petitioner was appointed, but on one pretext to another, she was putting pressure to get her appointment confirmed by the competent court."
2. At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to avail such other alternative
Patna High Court CWJC No.5622 of 2024(2) dt.18-04-2024 3/3 remedies as are otherwise available under the law, including that of filing a civil suit before the learned Civil Court having competent jurisdiction, for redressal of her aforesaid grievances. Liberty so sought is granted.
