1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned A.P.P. for the State.
2. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of petitioners after some arguments seeks permission to withdraw the anticipatory bail application with respect to petitioner no. 1.
3. Permission is accorded.
4. Accordingly, the anticipatory bail application is dismissed as withdrawn with respect to petitioner no. 1.
5. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 103(1) and 3(5) of the BNS.
6. Learned counsel for the petitioner next submits that petitioner no. 2 is a person with clean antecedent and from perusal of the allegations as alleged in the FIR, it would
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.16253 of 2026(2) dt.24-07-2026 2/2 manifest that petitioner no. 1 assaulted the injured by knife and petitioner no. 2 being son of petitioner no. 1 came to be implicated in the instant case with general and omnibus allegation.
7. Learned A.P.P. for the State opposes the anticipatory bail application of the petitioner.
8. Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner and taking into consideration the fact that petitioner no. 2 is a person with clean antecedent, the petitioner no. 2 above-named, in the event of his arrest or surrender within a period of six weeks from today, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned trial court where the case is pending/successor court in connection with Suppi P.S. Case No. 189 of 2024 subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 482 (2) of BNSS.
