BAJANTHRI ORAL JUDGMENT Date : 24-01-2022 This matter is heard via video conferencing due to circumstances prevailing on account of the COVID-19 Pandemic. In the instant petition, petitioner has prayed for the following relief(s):- "(i) For issuance of writ in the appropriate nature for commanding and directing the respondent authorities to reconstitute the medical board for medical fitness of the petitioner who have appeared in the selection process of constable in view of the Advertisement No. 01/2014 and further direction to the respondent authority to reconsider the case of the petitioner for appointment on the post of constable.

Short question for consideration is whether review medical is permissible or not?
The concerned respondent is hereby directed to examine the grievance of the petitioner in the light of the policy decision for selection and appointment to the post of Constable in Advertisement No. 1/2014. If the review medical is permissible in that event petitioner's grievance shall be redressed while subjecting petitioner to the medical board for medical test and proceed further in accordance with law within a period of two months from the date of receipt of this order. With the aforesaid observations, the present writ petition stands disposed off.
