The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offence under Section 307 & other allied sections of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act.

It is submitted on behalf of petitioner that as per F.I.R. itself, specific allegation of firing is against other co-accused persons and so far as this petitioner is concerned, he is only alleged to be member of the mob. Petitioner claims clean antecedent and he is in custody since 17.09.2021. However, learned counsel for the informant and learned A.P.P. for the State opposed the prayer for bail and submitted that this petitioner has also actively participated in the incident and was carrying rifle in his hand.
