Let the defect(s), if any, be removed within a period of four weeks from today.

The petitioner seeks bail in connection with RC 15/A/2017, giving rise to Spl. Case No. 13/2020 arising out of Kotwali (Adampur) P.S. Case No. 508/2017 registered for the offence under Section 13(2) r/w 13(1)(c) and 13(1)(d) of the Prevention of Corruption Act 1988.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 28.11.2022 and he further submits that he had cooperated during the investigation of the C.B.I. and he has been arrested after submission of chargesheet against

Learned counsel for the petitioner further relies upon the case of Hon'ble Supreme Case in the case of Satender Kumar Antil vs Central Bureau Of Investigation 2022 10 SCC 51. Learned counsel for the CBI has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner and he further submits that materials have come during investigation in support of the allegations against the petitioner which is apparent from paragraph 16. He further submits that the petitioner has 4 criminal antecedents.

In reply, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that though the petitioner is accused in other cases but just because he is a banker, he has been falsely implicated in these cases and bureaucrats who are involved in the crime have been left out by the C.B.I.

Considering the aforesaid facts and the law laid down by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in the case of Satender Kumar Antil vs Central Bureau Of Investigation(Supra), this application for regular bail is allowed.

Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the
