The petitioner, namely, Satrughna Bhagat @ Satrohan Bhagat, apprehends his arrest in Excise Case No. 39 of 2014 for the offences registered under Section 47A of the Excise Act.

230 litres of country-made liquor were recovered from the Goshala situated in front of the house of the petitioner. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that Goshala does not belong to the petitioner. The petitioner has no manner of concern with the recovery of alleged country-made liquor.

From the prosecution report it appears that that Goshala is situated in front of the house of the petitioner and on

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.34311 of 2014 (2) dt.12-02-2015 2/2 seeing the police, the petitioner fled away.

Considering the fact that the Goshala belongs to the petitioner, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on anticipatory bail. Accordingly, the same is rejected. (Prabhat Kumar Jha, J) PNM U T
