JUSTICE DINESH KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 30-05-2016 Petitioner is apprehending his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 384/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act. The prosecution case is that on 17.03.2016 at 10:00 P.M the petitioner along with 4-5 unknown came at the shop of the informant, abused and demanded Rs. 50,000/- as extortion. The accused persons also resorted to fire in the air. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that since the informant used to run his shop on the purchased land of the petitioner, hence the accusation has been levelled. Though the petitioner is accused in two other cases but he is on bail in those cases.

The aforesaid facts constitute ground for consideration of prayer for regular bail, if the petitioner surrenders within a period of six weeks in connection with

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.23989 of 2016 (2) dt.30-05-2016 2/2 Teghra P.S. Case No. 91 of 2016, pending in the Court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Begusarai. With the observations above, the application stands disposed off.
