Petitioners seek bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 30,30(a),38 and 41 of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

The petitioners are in custody since 29.12.2018. They are said to be driver and cleaner of the truck from which huge quantity of liquor was recovered.

Considering the entire facts, let the petitioners, above named, be released on bail after completion of six months of custody on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.16472 of 2019(3) dt.10-04-2019 2/2 each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Dariyapur Police Station Case No.426 of 2018, subject to the condition that both bailors shall be resident of territorial jurisdiction of the learned court below and further the petitioners shall fully cooperate with the investigation and trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioners.
