The petitioner is in custody since 07.09.2017 in connection with a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 394/307/120(B) of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner had been having differences with the informant as the informant's licence had been cancelled in the year 2012 and the same had been allotted to the petitioner and only because he was running good business, the petitioner has been falsely implicated in connection with the present case. It is further submitted that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent whatsoever.
