Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Section 30(a) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Amendment Act, 2018.

Huge quantity of liquor was recovered from a four wheeler and the person arrested at the time of recovery disclosed that they were carrying liquor for this petitioner. Petitioner has stated on oath that he has got no such criminal antecedent. There is no material to substantiate that petitioner is going to tamper with the evidence or hamper the trial. Considering the facts of this case, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail after completion of

No.14971 of 2020(2) dt.04-03-2020 2/2 investigation on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Pasraha P.S. Case No.129 of 2019, subject to the condition that both bailors shall be resident of territorial jurisdiction of the learned court below and further the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
