With the help of this writ petition, made under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, in the form of Public Interest Litigation, the petitioner has made allegations of irregularities in the implementation of the Scheme, which is known as "Swachcha Bharat Mission (Gramin)".

In view of the above, no direction, at this stage, can be issued to the respondents by invoking this Court's extraordinary jurisdiction under Article 226 of the Constitution of India. We are, therefore, closing this writ petition. It is made clear that the petitioner, if so advised, may either lodge a First Information Report with jurisdictional Police Station or a complaint with the Criminal Court of competent jurisdiction if she has materials to support the allegations of defalcation or misappropriation of public fund. If a First Information Report is lodged or a complaint is filed, the same shall be dealt with, expeditiously, in accordance with law.
