JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH) 18-08-2025 We find that a letter dated 25.01.2024 has been sent by the Superintendent of Police, Madhepura, wherein it has been stated that the appellant herein, namely, Billa Rajak has died on 01.06.2023 and in support thereof his death certificate dated 12.08.2023 issued by the Department of Planning and Development (Alamnagar Gramin), Government of Bihar, Patna has been annexed. We do not find any reason to doubt the aforesaid factum of the death of the appellant, hence the aforesaid appeal bearing Criminal Appeal (DB) No. 56 of 1996 stands abated.
