JUSTICE VIKASH JAIN ORAL JUDGMENT Date: 06-02-2018 The present writ petition has been filed for a direction to the Sub-Divisional Officer, Rosera to dispose of the application filed by the petitioner for issuance of licence for Public Distribution Shop under the Public Distribution System (Control) Order, 2001.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner's application for grant of PDS licence having been filed on 18.02.2014 before the Sub-divisional Officer, Rosera, District Samastipur (Respondent No. 3) remains pending as neither the licence has been granted nor any communication has been received by him.

4. Having regard to the nature of the grievances and the stand

Patna High Court CWJC No.14292 of 2014 dt.06-02-2018 of the petitioner, the present writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the Sub-divisional Officer, Rosera, District Samastipur (Respondent No. 3) to consider and dispose of the petitioner's application filed on 18.02.2014 (Annexure-2 series), if the same is pending before him, after grant of opportunity of hearing to the petitioner in accordance with law expeditiously and preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this judgment.
