2. Petitioners apprehend arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 272 and 275 of the B.N.S. and Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.
3. As per prosecution case, 83 litres foreign liquor was recovered from the City vehicle.
4. Learned Counsel for the petitioners submits that petitioners are neither owner nor drivers of the vehicle in question. Petitioners have been made accused only on suspicion. Petitioners have got no criminal antecedent of similar nature.
5. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.16649 of 2025(2) dt.16-04-2025 2/2 of the case, this anticipatory bail is allowed and it is ordered that let the above named petitioners in the event of their arrest/surrender before the court below within a period of eight weeks from today, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge Excise Act, Jharjharpur, Madhubani in connection with Rudrapur P. S. Case No. 02 of 2025, subject to condition as laid down under Section 482(2) of the B.N.S.S.
