This application is filed for grant of regular bail in connection with Kudhani P.S. Case No. 668 of 2019, registered under sections 414, 467, 468, 471 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code and sections 30(a), 38(i) and 41(i) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that there is recovery of 5085 litres of illicit foreign liquor. The petitioner is in custody since 03.02.2023.

Learned A.P.P. has vehemently opposed the prayer for

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.17168 of 2023(3) dt.22-05-2023 2/2 bail.

Considering the period of custody and the nature of allegations levelled against the petitioner, this application for regular bail is allowed.

Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge, Excise, Muzaffarpur in connection with Kudhani P.S. Case No. 668 of 2019.
