1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1. That this application is being filed by petitioners for issuance of an appropriate writ/order/direction, directing respondent authorities to appoint petitioners on vacant post of Home Guards considering the fact that they have applied for their appointment as per advertisement made for appointment in the year 2011 and they, after completing all selection process have been placed in merit list and thus they remain in hope of their joining but now recently after about 12 years of application joining started but petitioners have not been placed in Final Selection List despite the fact that during the period of this 12 years several vacancy happens and now petitioners have crossed the age of any fresh appointment."

2. After some arguments, the learned counsel for the petitioners seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioners to approach the respondent-authorities for redressal of their subsisting grievances, if any. Liberty so sought is granted.
