Having regard to the fact that the petitioner faces prosecution for the offence punishable under Sections-406, 498A, 494 and 307 of the Indian Penal Code and that the petitioner is the husband who is alleged to have remarried with another lady in the lifetime of her first wife and the petitioner is also not prepared to offer any decent amount for maintenance of his wife and also a daughter from the first marriage, this Court is not inclined to grant privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
The prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is hereby rejected.
