JUSTICE PURNENDU SINGH ORAL ORDER 29-04-2025 Heard Mr. Madhusudan Kumar, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner; Ms. Binita Singh, learned SC 28 for the State and Mr. Arun Kumar Arun, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the Accountant General, Bihar.

2. Petitioner has inter alia prayed for following reliefs in the paragraphs No.1 of the writ petition:- "1. That the prayer in this writ petition is to direct the authorities concerned to issue the certificate of Ist paper in which petitioner has appeared in Departmental Examination which was held on 15.8.2008. (Annexure-P2)."

3. In support of the relief, the petitioner has brought on record the letter no. 1698 dated 23.11.2019 in respect of

Patna High Court CWJC No.8967 of 2021(3) dt.29-04-2025 2/2 email sent to him on 02.12.2019 by the Director (In-charge), State Council of Educational Research and Training, Bihar and the petitioner, vide letter no.1738 dated 18.12.2019, was given the information that the he had appeared in the second paper of the Departmental examination vide Roll No.452 and Center Code no.61, whereas, the petitioner's claim is that he had appeared in the first paper of the said examination.

4. The petitioner instead of availing remedy under RTI Act, for obtaining information, as required and desired by him, has straight away preferred the writ petition for getting such information.

5. I find that since the petitioner is in communication with the Director, State Council of Educational Research and Training, he is directed to provide the requisite information to the petitioner and the petitioner is directed to appear before him, within the statutory period, in accordance with the provision of RTI Act, for getting his grievance redressed.

6. Accordingly, the present writ petition stands disposed of.
