The petitioners are in custody in connection with Mithanpura P.S. Case No.95 of 2017, a case under Sections 302/120B/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act.
The F.I.R. relates to an occurrence of demand of ransom.
The petitioners are not named in the F.I.R. Name of the petitioners has surfaced in the confessional statement of coaccused. Similarly situated co-accused Ranjit Thakur has already been allowed bail by a coordinate Bench of this Court in Cr. Misc. No.39399 of 2017.
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.52536 of 2017 (3) dt.19-02-2018 P2/ Considering the aforesaid fact, let the petitioners, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Court-below where the case is pending in connection with the aforesaid case, with condition that the petitioners shall fully cooperate with the investigation/trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioners.
