The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 341, 354B, 504, 506 of the Indian Penal Code and section 12 of the POCSO Act.
Prosecution case in brief is that on the alleged date and time of occurrence, while the informant was going for tuition, on the way, this petitioner caught her hand with bad intention and started pulling beside the road at a lonely place. In the meantime, brother of informant came, thereafter this petitioner fled away. It is further alleged that when the informant

This petitioner also threatened the informant not to disclose the ordeal to anyone. It is submitted that petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case due to previous enmity. The instant case has been lodged after delay of seven days without any plausible explanation. Petitioner claims clean antecedents. Counsel for the informant however vehemently opposed the prayer for bail and submitted that there is specific and direct allegation against this petitioner of sexual harassment on account of which the informant wants to commit suicide. Considering the facts aforesaid and gravity of offence, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner above-named on anticipatory bail in connection with Guraru P.S. Case No. 249 of 2022. Accordingly, the same is rejected.
