This is an application for bail in connection with Mahnar P.S.Case No. 51 of 2017 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 457 and 380 of the Indian Penal Code. Petitioner is not named in the FIR and later on his name transpires in the confessional statement of co-accused and it appears that he is accused in three other cases of similar type. Submission of learned counsel for the petitioner is that nothing has been recovered from his possession and except confessional statement there is nothing against him and after arrest he has been remanded in this case and he is in custody for more than four months.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.52816 of 2017 (3) dt.21-11-2017 2/2 Having heard both sides and considering the facts and circumstances of the case, let petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees twenty five thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate-VI, Vaishali at Hajipur, in connection with Mahnar P.S.Case No. 51 of 2017, subject to the following conditions :- (1) One of the bailors shall be a local person having sufficient immoveable properties within the jurisdiction of court concerned, (2) Petitioner will mark his attendance in local police station in first week of every month at least for a period of one year, so that police may watch his conduct during the said period, failing which his bail bond shall be cancelled.
