The present petition has been filed seeking the following relief :- "(i) For issuance of a writ of Mandamus for commanding the respondents for payment of the balance amount of salary for the period of suspension from 28.07.2000 to 08.09.2003 and 13.07.2010 to 31.12.2010 with all admissible increments and further for payment of stagnation increment on the scale of Rs. 1867/- on duration of every three years."

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that admittedly, the salary for the period 13.07.2010 to 31.12.2010 has stood paid to the petitioner, however, the outstanding
Patna High Court CWJC No.15362 of 2014 dt.13-07-2023 2/2 amount of salary for the period of suspension i.e. 28.07.2000 to 08.09.2003 is still outstanding for payment.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, I deem it fit and proper to grant liberty to the petitioner to approach the Managing Director, Vaishali District Central Cooperative Bank Limited, Vaishali at Hajipur i.e. the respondent no. 2 for payment of the outstanding dues of salary, as aforesaid, and in case, appropriate representation is filed within a period of four weeks from today, the respondent no. 2 shall take appropriate decision upon the same, in accordance with law and pass a reasoned and a speaking order, within a period of four weeks, thereafter as also pay the admitted outstanding dues of salary within the same time frame. 4.
The writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
