Petitioner is accused in connection with Teghra P.S. Case No. 356 of 2018 registered under Section 30(a) (b) of the Excise Act.

Submission of learned counsel for the petitioner is that earlier prayer of the petitioner for grant of bail was rejected vide Cr. Misc. No. 45891 of 2019 on 24.07.2019 by a Bench of this Court with observation that the petitioner may renew his prayer for bail after six months, if no substantive progress is made in the trial. Further submission is that after lapse of six months, there is no substantive progress in the trial. Petitioner is in custody since 18.09.2018, having no criminal antecedent.
