The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Special N.D.P.S. Case No.32 of 2018 (NCB Case No.34 of 2018) registered under Sections 8, 20, 25 and 29 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act.

Considering the recovery of 41 kg ganja from the back seat of the car, which the petitioner was driving, I am not inclined to grant him bail even though he is in custody since 17th July, 2018. The prayer for bail is rejected. The learned Sessions Judge, West Champaran, Bettiah is directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same as early as possible preferably within nine months from the date of
