The petitioner seeks bail in Rohtas P.S. Case No. 59 of 2012 registered for the offence punishable under Section-366A of the Indian Penal Code, in which, later on, Section-376, 120(B) of the IPC was also added.

The petitioner is in custody since 14-09-2012. The allegation against the petitioner is that he along with co-accused Dukhati Devi and Mahendra Ram kidnapped the granddaughter of the informant to sell her in the market. The granddaughter of the informant has already returned back which would be evident from the FIR itself.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.53386 of 2017 (3) dt.12-03-2018 Considering the fact that the petitioner is in custody since such a long time, let the petitioner, above-named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Court below in connection with the aforesaid case.
