The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offence under Sections 341, 323, 325, 354-B and 379/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

As per the prosecution case, this petitioner caught hold of the informant and tried to outrage her modesty, whereas, other co-accused assaulted the informant with lathi and danda and snatched her gold nose pin, gold ear ring and silver payal. It is submitted on behalf of petitioner that the instant case is counter blast of Bishanpur P.S. Case No. 112 of 2020, which was lodged by this petitioner against informant and others. Injury is simple in nature and allegation of snatching of ornaments is only with a view to make the offence grave. Petitioner has got clean antecedent.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.17360 of 2022(2) dt.30-08-2022 2/2 Learned A.P.P. for the State has opposed the bail petition.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, let the above named petitioner, in the event of his arrest/surrender within a period of six weeks from today, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Judicial Magistrate 1st Class, Darbhanga in connection with Bishanpur P.S.
